The University of Malta is the only publically funded university in Malta, offering a full range of programmes from its 14 faculties and 32 centres, schools and institutes. Its current student population is around 11,000, of which some 1,000 are international. The language of instruction is English. It is the world's 4th oldest university where the language of instruction is now English.
